Seal It in a Can. Our New Canning Machine Range

Drinks and desserts always need a more refined look, and few options add that polish like a sealed can. Tidy, tamper-proof, and lend whatever you've made the look of a finished, retail-ready product.

That's why we're delighted to introduce a brand-new canning machine range. Including two can sealing machines, a set of cans, and lids to complement them. Whether you're making drinks for the counter, batch-making cocktails, or layering desserts, this range offers flexible options.

Why seal your own cans?

Fill it, seal it within seconds, and you get a leak-proof, tamper-evident portion ready for sale.

  • Leak-proof. A rolled seam secures the lid to the rim, so nothing escapes in transit.
  • Tamper-evident seal. You must break the seal to open it — reassuring for delivery orders, hotel minibars, and events.
  • Prep ahead of time. Batch during quieter periods, seal, chill, and serve on demand — consistent portions, less waste, swifter service.

Here's the ingenious part: the same can accommodates two entirely different products, depending purely on the lid. Cap it with a ring pull, and it presents as a drink; cap the identical can with a peel-off lid, and it becomes a dessert.

So, which Can sealing machine do you need?

We're stocking two can sealing machines, so there's a suitable option regardless of where your operation sits on the scale.

Cam Lock, Manual Can Sealer

The Can Lock, our manual can sealer, is the ideal way to start sealing in-house. Avoiding the cost of a fully automatic canning machine. A stable base permits easy two-handed operation, and the hand crank delivers a secure, precise seal every time. The can stays stationary throughout, minimising spillage.

And with no power supply required, it's suited to cafés, juice bars, cocktail lounges and smaller kitchens. The adjustable height lets one machine handle all can sizes.

The Fully Automatic Can Sealer

The Fully Automatic Can Sealer suits those sealing at genuine volume. Its lifting base adjusts automatically, and the stainless-steel roller produces a durable seal with unfailing consistency. Instead of the can rotating, the sealing head moves, so layered cocktails and delicate foams stay just as made.

Sealing an impressive 400+ cans per hour, it runs off a standard 220V supply and suits molecular gastronomy chefs. While also being ideal for cocktail bars and operations producing canned cocktails at scale.

Both machines take the same 65 mm can range, so you could begin with the manual sealer and progress to the automatic machine later.

How does a can sealing machine work?

The process amounts to three steps:

  1. Fill cold. Build your drink or dessert directly into the can — it doesn't rotate during sealing, so any layers stay put.
  2. Seat the lid. Position a ring-pull or peel-off lid onto the rim, then set the can on the platform.
  3. Seal. Press go or turn the crank. The head rolls a seam around the rim in seconds. Chill, then serve.

PET Drinks Cans

What about the cans?

We stock crystal-clear PET drink cans in two sizes that share an identical 65 mm rim and are entirely food safe. So whichever lid you choose fits either one.

The cans themselves come in 330ml or 500ml options. They're BPA-free, we rate them for -20°C to 50°C, and they come in packs of 100. Always fill cold.

These cans aren’t just for drinks — their clear design lets you show off mousses, puddings, and layered trifles. They also work well for yoghurt pots, sauces, and compotes.

Rin Pull and Peel Off Aluminium Lids

And the lids?

We sell lids separately, so you can pick whichever finish and opening style best suits what you're producing:

  • Ring-Pull Lids — the familiar snap of a canned drink, available in silver.
  • Peel-Off Aluminium Lids — opens across the full width of the can, better suited to desserts and anything eaten with a spoon.

Either machine takes both lid types, so you get full flexibility to mix and match.

What could you make with this?

A few suggestions to get you on your way:

  • Ready-to-drink craft cocktails, mocktails & spritzes
  • Cold brew, iced coffee, bubble tea & iced teas — grab-and-go for cafés and juice bars
  • Shakes, layered drinks, smoothies & juices
  • Layered cake & desserts — mousses, puddings, trifles, chocolate mousse with cherry and sponge
  • Yoghurt & granola pots, sauces and compotes
  • Confectionery and tasting samples
  • Chef's table theatre — the reveal of a sealed can adds a surprising element for any fine dining.
  • Takeaway, delivery and hotel minibars — the seal assures customers a product remains unopened

We see this as a strong new addition to our range. We look forward to seeing what our customers create with it. Get in touch to discuss samples, arrange a demonstration, or determine which combination best suits your kitchen.
