What Is Compound? Unlike standard chocolate, compound uses cocoa powder instead of chocolate liquor, and oil instead of cocoa butter. This means compound can be melted down without tempering and will still set up perfectly. It also has a higher melting point, so it holds its shape at room temperature, making it perfect for chocolate decoration.
Our Compound is sold in 10kg bulk quantities.
