Crepe Expectations: Your Guide To Crepe Machines

Crêpes and Pancakes are always an easy addition to any dessert menu. While they don’t require a lot of time or ingredients, they taste amazing and you can easily customise them to accommodate any palate.
Crêpe Machines
If you are making pancakes or crêpes, having the right tools and equipment is vital. This ensures that all your customers are receiving the same high-quality product, in the most cost-effective way. At home, you may use a crêpe pan, but when working on a larger scale, a crêpe machine is the way forward.

Commercial Crêpe Maker.
Perhaps the most recognisable machine, the Commercial Crêpe Maker, is popular in dessert parlours all over the country. You will often see these machines at seasonal events and food markets. They are quick to set up and need little preparation, and are also easy to spot.
The temperature is easy to control depending, but we advise using on a medium heat. This will cook crêpes slowly enough they don't burn, but still create a crisp finish.
Although these machines do require some practice, and seasoning, they are ideal for creating large flat crêpes. They also have the added perk of adding fillings during the final stage of cooking, for an easier and mess free serving. Simply coat the machine in melted butter, spread out your mix, cook, add sweet or savoury toppings and fold the crêpe.
Rondo
The Rondo is one of our newer machines and is incredibly simple to use. The Rondo is easy to use, simply pour your batter into the centre of the lower plate, close the machine and rotate 180 degrees. Anyone who is familiar with our multi-waffle machine would find the Rondo works in the same way.
The force of the two plates pressing together spreads the mix into a thin, even layer. Creating thin pancakes with the same thickness and consistency every time. As with the commercial crêpe, the Rondo does require seasoning, but once completed the machine is easy to use. Making it ideal for locations that do not have the time to train staff on the commercial crêpe.

Mini Pancake Maker 50PCS
Our brand-new Mini Pancake Machine produces a different type of pancake to the two above. With its 50 individual indents, this machine is ideal for producing small Dutch mini pancakes on a larger scale. Each pancake uses around one tablespoon of batter, so a little goes a long way.
With their quick cook time, mini pancakes are ideal for offering a bite size treat and are perfect for offering a multitude of toppings. In the same way as our other machines, this one does require seasoning.
Crêpe Serving Station
Our crêpe serving stations combine the easy of having your crêpe machine and toppings in easy reach of each other. Made from stainless steel with a cast iron cooking plate, the front and sides of the unit are protected by glass screens to prevent customers leaning over and touching products or injuring themselves.
The crêpe machine itself is built into the centre of the unit, with temperature control so you can decide how fast they cook. You then have an array of serving compartments built into the unit to serve your toppings and sprinkles, as well as a safe place for your equipment.
Accessories
To complement your machines, we also offer a range of Accessories which will help you on your crêpe making journey. Including Crêpe Spreaders, 40cm spatulas and cleaning stones or wiper pads. Our range ensures you have everything you need to set up and make crêpes a success story.
We have also recently added a Waffle and Crêpe Non-Stick Coating to our range of products. This spray is ideal for applying to your machine before use to create a non-stick coating and extend the life of your machines or plates between seasoning.
Crêpe Mixes
Once you have selected your machine, the next deciding factor is the mix that you want to use. While you can make your own mix, this can be time-consuming and requires having multiple ingredients to hand. You also need to keep in mind the expiry date of your ingredients.
We have a some crêpe batter mixes that are easy to use and create delicious desserts that will keep your customers happy.
Crêpe and Pancake Mix is our slightly more budget range crêpe mix. Requiring just the addition of water, this mix creates a crisp pancake with a soft centre. Perfect for everyday use, a 1kg batch would make you around 15 average sized crêpes.
Luxury French Crêpe & Pancake Mix is our second option for crêpe mix. This mix also only requires the addition of water. But the crêpes are slightly sweeter, although still crisp and flavourful. This mix will also produce approximately 15 crêpes per kg.
Crêpe Toppings
The final stage in your crêpe and pancake journey is deciding on the toppings that work best for your business and your customers. Staying on top of the trends in the desert industry is important for any business, drawing more customers to your door.

Vibrant juicy cherries, suspended in a thick sweet syrup, perfect for that decadent finishing touch.
Cookie : Our ambient cookie dough is ideal if you are looking to add something different to your topping options. You can store the 600 g sausage under ambient conditions, and it remains easy to slice and cook. The cookies require around 5 minutes to cook, less if cut into bite size pieces.
Popping Boba: And if it is something unique and quirky you are looking for, popping boba are a great option. With their bright colours and fresh fruity flavour, they can create a fun, tasty dessert that people will remember. A perfect accompaniment to fruit-based toppings.
